Freeform Injection Molding (FIM) delivers the qualities of injection molding on an additive platform. Full design freedom at speed, with peerless quality, seamless scalability and an unlimited access to approved materials.
The Process of Freeform Injection Molding:
Step 1: Print the mold
A patented 3D printing platform that let you produce the most advanced molds.
Step 2: Inject your material
Fill the molds with the material of choice using your standard injection molding machine.
Step 3: Dissolve the mold
Once filled, the mold may be completely dissolved to release your advanced geometry.
The AddiFab Additive Manufacturing system, Add-Line, is built for high repeatability- and precision, and is ideal for complex short-series injection molding.
